In order to make our facilities as Covid-19 safe as possible, we ask all people entering our building to check in by scanning the displayed QR code. This can only be done by using the NHS Covid-19 App that should have been already downloaded on a mobile phone device. This will assist the Track and Trace service initiated by the government.
Our reception staff are seated behind a perspex safety screen and camera operators and receptionists wear perspex visors or face masks. All door handles are sanitised regularly throughout the casting session. We have separate toilets and wash facilities for both talent and clients attending.
The studios have a fresh air ventilation system and windows can be opened in the studios – however we normally keep them closed to shield from outside noise when filming. The ground floor studio is at the entrance to the building, so very close to double opening doors to outside.
In addition to the camera operator, we can have a maximum of 4 clients in attendance and 2 people casting together unless from the same household whereby a household counts as 1. All clients must only attend if they are not displaying any Covid-19 symptoms and must wear face coverings at all times.
All paperwork is digitally completed and uploaded with the casting clips. All scripts and storyboards are mounted on the wall in each waiting area to prevent unnecessary handling of paper.
We occupy 3 floors in our building for our sole use, and have 4 waiting rooms so that we can maintain social distancing for all attendees.
We ask all actors attending in-person castings to only remove their face masks during the audition, to wash hands upon arrival and after their casting, and to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their time slot. You can view our actor guidelines here.
